Default What 1/4 Mile times to expect

So I just picked up a stock shortblock and a 305 cam and Im wondering what kind of times to expect out of it. The whole engine is rebuilt with stock parts basicly. The car is in my sig. Its going to be tuned and by then have an intake and ported TB. Im looking for estimated NA and 125 shot ideas.

Hard to say. I'd have to go mid 12's would be my guess depending on how you hook. IMO I dont think you should spray untill you have some work done on the bottom end or else yeah SPUN BEARING.

I run mid to high 11's with bolt ons, stall, and 125 shot. Car is a full weight 95 TA with Moser 12 bolt, 3300 stall, exhaust, LT's, cai, madz28 tuning and a few other bolt ons. If you can hook you should do well. My guess is mid 12's NA, mid 11's with nitrous.

I agree, When my car was a bolt on car with no stall I ran 12.30's on a 150 shot . With the car spinning bad.

The whole engine is temporary so its getting new bearings and rings and thats about it. Im throwing it together until i can afford a 383 to put into it.

Its got the 3.23's and the stall is stock but may be a 3200 depending on if I have the money in 2 weeks when I drop the motor in.
