Getting ready to swap in my BMR K member. How did you support the motor? I don't want to leave all that weight on my $300 oil pan and take a chance of denting/crushing or have it leak.

used a 2x6 piece of wood on a tripod on the damper to hold the motor when i did mine. did mine on a lift. so u could use a jack instead if your on the ground.

A chain off of a strut tower brace will work also.

I used a metal square tube that rests on the strut tower and I wrapped chain around tube in line with holes in the head and then bolted chain in the holes. That will hold it up so you can remove K-Member.Also it helps to remove motor mount bolts and raise engine a 1/2 inch or so prior to chaining engine to the tube.
