Depends on whatcha got. There are many aftermarket ones, but I know the impy gaskets are .029 and I believe Mr Gasket makes some .026, both of which will raise your compression slightly.

Good idea if you are running a retard box with the nitrous, and you have good gas available. However, I would emphasize sealing power (especially with the nitrous) over the tiny bump in compression, so I'd be looking at probably the FelPro WireLoc head gaskets or even the Cometics, or the GM MLS.

My buddy used the impala gaskets and hasent had any problems with em. Before that he had fel-pro's and he blew them, he had to re-surface the heads. oh yea its a 355 with a 125 dry shot.

ok i the part# i got at work was 12553160 for the impala gaskets. Hope that helps. They are all pretty good gaskets, and the only thing about cometics is that they are pretty picky about the surfaces that you mate them with. Hope all goes well.

yea it does. you have to make sure they will fit that size bore . i know they fit my buddy's 355, but that is 30 over. Not to sure how get all specs on them but ill check tomorrow. If not you may have to order some for that size bore.
