bolt-on record is a 6-speed car. 11.8? the record holder would be much slower auto style.

If he can shift I think he should be able to do better than high 13s with full boltons.

Rember he has a M29( I think thats the right code)

Its not a T56 and has shorter gearing in the 93,so this could help it

If it is a true full bolt on he should be well into the 12's, unless he needs a driver mod

He would be quicker with a stalled auto.

FWIW I went 12.8's bolt-ons and DRs w/ a 3200 stall. What you listed is not near "full" bolt-ons though.

Depending on driver and altitude maybe mid 13's?

My car ran a 13.6 with just drag radials, now it has LT's w/ x-pipe 3600 converter, and LCA,s and a torque arm. After i put the stall in i ran a 12.97 i cant wait to go back i should be able to get around the high 12.7 range Hell i still need gears and a pully

Is he running stock gear? '93 m6 came w/ 3.23. If he can shift and launch effectively, high 13's would be attainable.

running 12s is easy (did it with stock converter . . .ok it was cold out lol)
[I can't find any of my old time slips (think '02) 12.4s w/ 3.23s, 12.0s w/ 3.42s and tuning]
running 11s takes some dedication

there are 10,000+ threads just like this one

slick1851 brings up a good point, but if I recall there were a couple of different 6spd's in '93 depending on rearend ratio as well

full bolt-on LT1 w/ gears better be in the low 13's with decent driver and 60 and 12's on stickies.

With those mods I was running low to mid 13's so if he can drive it I'd say a 13.3-13.4

I hit a 12.9 @ 106 with headers/off road y, catback, cai, 3.42's, and tune. This was with stock converter in my auto and street tires (275/40ZR17's). Anything's possible. Some cars just run better than others.

Hey man whats up? It's James!
Just so you know if you already don't, if your talking about Tommy's old car it has a 3.23 rear end in it with the m29 Trans. I was at the track with him when it was running like $hit. He ran a 14.2 with a bad 60' and with it falling on it's face at high rpm. With just CAI, CatBack, and UD Pulley's, and shitty tires. But with the PS LT's, ORY, new clutch I put in for Tommy, and the tune up it needed (Burnt Wires), & with some Drag Radials and a good driver.... it should be good for low 13's no problem. If you guys need any help with it LMK. I have a friend with a Ported 93 Intake for sale and a few other people with some things for sale.... Tell him I said Good Luck with it.
