I ran the duals over the axle and out the back today. I had to remove the brace above the panhard rod. I'm gonna try to fabricate a new one to work around the exhaust. Not to crazy about the sound of the bullet mufflers, sounds like the old school glass pack sound. Gotta get me some flowmasters.

i got my td's w/ bullets ran out the back too after about a week of them being dumped and rattling my interior all around. and if your gonna ditch the bullets (which i hate to hear) i'd get sweet thunders, they're not as you call "glass pack"-ey, and still have a good tone to 'em. just my .02 cents tho. Nice car btw!

my duals are being made today and i got powersticks which have 3" flowpath unlike sweet thunders but will sound really close

I want the low mellow rumble of a flowmaster. 96lt1m6, how loud are those in the car and do they have the classic flowmaster sound?? Are they chambered?

those are flowmaster 10 series 1 chamber. The chambered options for duals are powersticks or sweet thunder. Personally if I'm spending the money for 10 series i'd just go ahead and get borla xr-1 mufflers.

i love the tone of my flowmaster (not true duals though) its not bothering me if it doesnt flow as good as other brands cause it flows and sounds better then stock

Nice! Get some shots from the rear when you get done. Sweet Thunders or Flowmasters...you can't go wrong either way. My One Chamber Flowmasters...

they are the 1 chamber RACE mufflers,they really sound like a mustang but with a sweeter note!
people seem to critisize flowmasters as non performing mufflers but it is the crossflow that is a NON-FLOWING unit that was made for sound.
some say it is loud,1 time getting pulled over for loud exhaust,many many compliments and the car runs hard enough for the mild mods on it!
