I wnet 3200 EDGE and kinda wish i had went bigger...A good brand stall is much tighter than an el cheapo brand and wont feel near as loose..and 3.73s

Depends where your shifting at etc. Call Yank and you will be set. I wouldnt bother with anything less than a 3600 and personally wouldnt go lower than a 4000 if I were you. For gears, Id go for 3.73s.

Every single person who has responded sofar has failed to consider the VERY important fact that you said it has a TH350 which in and of itself was a mistake. You really do not want to compound that mistake by listening too them.

You lack lockup and OD, for drivability sake you will want to keep it to about 3.42s and maybe a 2800 stall. A friend has a TH400 in a first Gen Camaro 3.55s out back and a 2800 stall with a Gear Vendor, car is a show and car club cruise car, doubt it sees 1000 miles a year and he is ready to put a 4L60E in it. Guy likes hotrods too his daily driver is a cammed Caprice with 3300stall and 3.73s so he is comfortable with compromises made for speed. The 3.55s 2800 stall just suck that bad without lockup, the Gear Vendor causes the converter to slip more negating a piece of the OD it does provide.

I like the th350 I have one in my Nova, they can take a lot of HP, and don't take that much money to build. Because you do not have a lock up converter I would go with a 2800 stall if you go bigger make sure you put on a big *** trans cooler on your car. if you are not going to do a lot of freeway driving I would go with 373 gears.

Good luck with your car
