I can't say I have seen anyone use the 219/219, I thought it was designed for the cars that got the modified TPI intake. How many single pattern cams do you see guys running????

I would sooner consider the 211/219 as the LT1 and pretty much all the gen 1 smallblock stuff is comparatively weak on the exhaust side of the head which is why you tend to see more exhaust duration on most cams guys use.

I'm partial to the 227 since I had great luck with that cam. I'm sure the 211/219 lpe cam would be a good canidate as well.

I agree with Caprice. I would go 211/219 before 219/219. Between the Crane 227 and the 211/219 I would personally go with the 227. They both have great powerbands and instant torque so they would be very fun cams. They also dont have really have a noticible lopes o there kinda sleeper cams so you could suprise some people.
