Default What kind of power would I need to hit 11's?

Assuming I have a full suspension, a 9in rear, mt streets, built trans with a good 3600 stall, and all the needed bolt ons. What would I need as far as engine build to get me well into the 11's? What kind of cash am I looking at for the rebuild? I would like to get into the 11's NA and then spray it a little after that, maybe a 150-200 shot or so to put me in the high 10's? The car is a 95 z28 with a bone stock engine right now. I am more into diesel performance so the Camaro is a new project to me. Any help would be great!

cai-300
headers, y, catback-1000
solid cam with supporting mods-grand or so

that should get you close to the 11's

the suspension, stall and rear are going to add a lot themselves. and i just read yours again and you said WELL into the 11's...so you will probably want to do a head and cam package deal with lloyd elliott and that can get spendy depending on how wild you go. www.eportworks.com

What about the bottom end? If I do a H/C I am going to do Ai. What kind of parts am I going to need in the short block to hold 11sec NA with a 200 shot on top of it? I will prob go with a 355 for this build so I can keep my options open with this block in the future.

A forged 355 SHOULD be able to hold a 200 shot if it is built right. Yes sir.
