Default having oil psi probs with 3.4L... 5-10psi idle, 25-30 running?

Ok guys before I get flamed I just wanted to ask all of you this question about my buddies 3.4L v6 (110k) b/c the lt1 crowd is normally higher mileage and can probably throw some input I'd really appreciate it.
well like the title says.. it has that low *** oil psi, what are some remedies? theres no way to get it rebuilt or taken in, i was thinking maybe some GC 0w-30 and a quart of lucas ?
is there any additives or anything you can recommend me to get the oil psi up?

(i know this is just a bandaid but its all we can do right now being in college and poor as ****)

thanks guys.. sorry for this being v6 related.

Put in Lucas if you want to make it worse.

my oil psi was really low. I just changed the oil and put a new oil psi sending unit in just to be safe. Now my oil psi is always 30 or higher. and idk about your car but some cars the sending unit shuts it off if oil psi drops to low.

Could be the Pressure Sending Unit, or the Pump is getting weak..
