I like how it says 24lb injectors and then I look at the back of the rails. The light weight engine control harness is nice too. Should the description of parts used include more quotes around them indicating the term is used loosly?

Haha looks nice and clean. I like it.

Very clean installs! Have your shock towers been cut and re-welded?

I will take some the next time that I take the car out of the trailer. It has a ten point cage, full interior including headliner and light weight carpet, and one factory cloth seat (required for Top Stock).

In 1998 when GM submitted the specs. for the Firebirds they listed the LT1 instead of the LS1. I think it was done because there weren't any LS1's available for racers and GM wanted the later body style at NHRA/IHRA races.
I purchased the entire front end new from the dealer in 1998. The car is a 1995 Formula with AC delete as it's only option. It has been a race car it's entire life and shows 000186 original miles.

I figured out a long time ago that a good high pressure/high volume fuel system is a must. That is why I have #8 AN fuel lines and a #6 return. The injectors are 24 lb SVO's run at 50 PSI.

1. Greg Anderson and Jason Line test at Mooresville.

2. The car has more in it. The rules for Top Stock are pretty tight. The motor has stock rockers and a stock lift cam (.449/.460).

3. I will post up some pictures soon. Almost everything came from BMR. So far the sixty foot times have been around 1.37. They should be in the high 1.2's once I get everything right.

I welded all of the seams for strength. We are not allowed any bars ahead of the firewall.

Stock lift is not stock cam. The cams in these cars have an aggresive ramp rate and actually throw the valve open to achieve higher lift.

I wonder what the car weighs?
