some states have emissions, so you cant really go with Long tubes if you wanna pass or get pulled over by the cops (and i yes i know a few that have been pulled over for having LT's, i'm guessing the smell gave it away.)
So ill have to go with shorties eventually.

cops go, if you're running an acceptable catback or proper duals, the cops
wont bother you . . . well, unless you live in a tiny town.

The cops won't bother you if your not being stupid or making alot of noise, thats a rediculous assumption to make, what do you think they do, sniffer tests lol, Oh i smell exhaust fumes, better pull this guy over , they have WAY more important things to think about, any "SNIFF" test is up to the emission stations, now if your exhaust is dragging/load or falling off, then yes, you might get stopped, but all you'll get is a ticket (maybe), the cops could give a rats *** if your running cats or not, if you have a current plates/insurance & inspection, thats all there care about, if you don't beleive me, ask a cop. You can put LTs & a custom Y with high flow cats if you want, i'm sure it'll pass, do you know how many F bodies run around here with the crappiest exhaust amagineable, & they have currect stickers & never get stopped by the cops for a sniffer test, maybe some states do this, if so, then those cops have WAY too much time on there belt. I have LTs & a ORY, I've alliminated the cats on my 97, if i get stopped for a sniffer/cat test "ONLY" by a cop, i'll be the first to let you'll know.

Also it is against the law to MOVE cats so you would fail the visual part of emissions if you get a catted y-pipe for your LT's. Especially in NJ, unless you pay someone, which i do not want to waste money on, and it also got progressively harder to do. SO before opening your trap how about you get a clue about LOCAL rules which I was talking about, because your clearly do NOT apply in my town. f'ing 08's...kthxbye
