Default Draglites on the Rear, Brake clearance..

I just got a set of 15x8's, 5.5" BS to go on the back of my Camaro. The guy said the Fronts cleared without a problem, they are 15X4's. I have the LS1 Front Brakes and the Rims came off of a '00 Z28.

My question is will I have to grind on the Stock LT1 Back Calipers to fit the Rims? I have a 1/4" Spacer if I need it.

I'm not running spacers and brakes are over 70% worn and I still had to grind the caliper. Whenever I finally get new brakes I'll have to grind the calipers some more since I don't want to run spacers with stock wheel studs. Oh yeah, I'm running the Draglites 15x8 5.5bs as well.

I'm running a 5/16 spacer with no grinding.

Yes you will need to grind the fins off of the rear, I'm running 15x10 7.5bs Draglites. I would avoid running the spacers on the rear if all possible.

I would not run spacers on the back of the car. You will have to grind down the cooling fins.

So you can grind the front a touch an get away from running the spacer? I've thought about that to keep the wheel tucked in.

I had to use the 1/4" Spacer for the Front(LS1 Brakes), the Backs fit perfect with the Grinding I did.

Absolutely. No spacers on the rears. I run them on the fronts, but I also put on huge studs.
