Default 305, 503, and the stoc 10 bolt

i have the car in my sig. the 4.10s have gone in and theres a girdle on it. with this rear end survive on street tires (or possibly drag radials) with the comp cams 503 or 305 as a cam only?

Should survive on the Street Tires as long as you keep spinning. As soon as you get a good bite with some DR's and drop the Clutch at a high RPM.. the Rear will eventually go

well right now im running 285-40-17 nitto 555s and they hook pretty good on the street but the track is a different story. does anyone run with a similar set up?

there are no gaurantees, it might it might not. no one will be able to tell you for sure if it will work because its a toss up with the M6. if you hook it could go whenever. and the 4.10s will definitely not be helping things.

If you launch easy with it, you might be ok for a while though.

The tranny means FAR FAR more than the cam, not even worth mentioning the cam in this discussion.

Wheelhop will break parts at least as fast as a hard hook.

well i cant remember the last time i got wheels hop. so i dont think thats hurting me

The cam doesn't mean anything in terms of how long the rear will last and some people have been lucky with them lasting and many not. Dont be suprised is a 12 bolt or the like is in your future, unfortunately they are all very expensive but one of those things that is a necessity with these cars mainly 6-speeds that race.

well im not quite ready to upgrade to a 12 bolt just yet thats why im asking these kinds of questions. this isa daily driven car and will be for some time. also on a lesser important question, how with either of these cams affect my mph?

Do you mean mph as in trap speed? If so I personally picked up roughly 7mph with the 503, 1.6RR's, and a tune.
