Questions About Custom Cams---------
i might be in the market for a custom cam.anyways..........
where is the best place to get it done at?
how much would it cost?
how long does it take to get it?

...if you know 'what" custom grind you want Comp or Crane can grind it.
I suggest you contact Lloyd Elliot or Advanced Induction. they have done a great deal of work for the LT1 and can provide a custom grind based on your set up and needs.
With that said the "cam" is VERY closely related to mods such as heads, valve size, springs, torque conver, gears and exhaust. Whatever those are, or will become, need to be considered in a cam selection.

Way these threads go is the majority of folks will push you towards a company with good marketing and a few folks will push you towards a company with a good product and most people are so feeble minded they mistake good marketing for a good products so what happens is most of the guys who know what a good product is don't endup wasting their time trying to help when experiance has shown them they will be ignored anyway.

I'm still trying to figure out where you fit in this scenerio.
