Default Cam decision...

Ive got a buddy that has another cam and it sounds like a nice size... not to big, nor small... Check out this link and let me know what you think...

This will be ran with stock intake, stock heads, MAYBE a possible mild port, and stock bottom end...

That cam with all boltons and a 3200-3600 stall converter should do welll, some people might say it is a bit much, but I would rather go with the more rowdy cam.

Put it this way, that is more lift and duration than the cam I use. Look at the performance my car has, do you think bigger than this is better??

If you want a deal, get one used. I've seen some BRAND NEW good cams sold for $200 shipped. 503/cc306/847/305 all sorts. I've even seen some go for $180 shipped.

From what I've heard that's a pretty decent cam, though.

I think it is called the "Goldilocks Cam".

You can do better for stock heads, intake, etc. Check around. Think Baby Bear, not Mother Bear.
