Default Removing this piece help plz



So i found out where i wanna put my cb. I've heard you can rmeove the box piece, but i can't find a screw or anything help me out if u can thanxs

I'm pretty sure you have to remove the surrounding trim to find the screws. The reason they aren't out in the open is because it'd be an eye sore. On closer inspection, that looks to be one whole piece. You might have to fab your own out of sheet metal and then maybe crinkle spray it to give it somewhat of the same texture.

it wobbles around the edges an can be pried up. Leading to belive there some screws with it

Check inside it. I just pulled mine out and im pretty sure thats where they were. There may also be some on the sides near the knee bolster. You should have to pry any of the edges of it to take it out. Its a lot more simple than you think it is.

It looks like plastic rivets or something. I can get a drill bit in there to take ehm off any ideas

it's attached to the console. Just remove the console and it will be easy to separate.

Either get a drill bit and drill the plastic "rivets" out or a thin chisel and cut them in half. There are no screws, just some plastic holding them together.

i took mine out, i used a solder gun and melted the rivits off. Looks like it was never there.
