Default LPP stainless LT1 headers slots or no slots?

Ok guys due to some conversation in my thread for the LT1 headers I'm looking for feedback on rather or not to put the slots on the ends of the flanges on the next batch of headers.

Thanks

Nice looking headers ... Recommend you post up pics of the difference here.

And psst ... that background "fire noise" in the website is totally 1995.

lol, I'm gonna have to agree there

I design corporate websites, and if you want to project a professional business image with your products I would seriously think about redoing that site.

Come on guys. I'm trying to break out of the stereo type here I didn't want the typical sales type website. I wanted something different than all the commercial sites you see every day. We all know F-body people don't follow the normal crowds I just wanted my site to stand out from all the others but maybe it's not a good thing I need more feedback on the site I guess I could have gone with the normal sales type site but there's 1000's of them I just wanted to be different.

Doing something out of the ordinary is perfectly fine, there's plenty of cool things you can do these days without making the site look like it was designed by a 12 year old. No offense here, just trying to offer you some useful feedback, cause I want your product to succeed so I can purchase it eventually.

Default *** No Slots ***

Carl,
Thanks for acknowledging the concern/preference for having no slots. I certainly cast my vote for:

NO SLOTS

Also, would like to "drive home" the point that no slots allows everyone an option to what do as they wish with regards to the flanges once you receive them. On the other hand, the addition of slots restricts your option to almost nothing.

sorry for the ignorance but, just never seen it. My vote would be for no slots although, as I just admitted, I'm unaware of the possible benifits. I've had no problems with headers yet and they've never had those slots/cuts in them like that.

i wish my pacesetters had slots on them so they would have been easier to install by myself. i voted yes because then i wouldnt need someone to hold the damn thing when i try to start the first couple bolts.

Even with slots you could only slide one end on and then you risk the chance of it sliding back off while you try and start another bolt. Personally never had a problem installing headers with no slots by myself. At least with the back bolt in with no slots it some what balances and you are not fighting the header to get another bolt in, just my.02.

Come on guys. I'm just a construction worker that's tired of paying over inflated prices for F-body parts. I'm working out this deal with the header manufacture to produce higher quality parts and sell them at a more realistic price. I've been doing all this with limited funds. Sure you guys now how construction work has been the last year or so with the problems in the housing market. So I don't think I did to bad making a website with limited fund and not much knowledge of building one.

But if either one of you professionals would like to step up and make me a professional looking web site feel free to go for it

Here's what I think to be a positive suggestion... I think you should orient the "slots" so they go up and down, on the two end bolt holes. That way you could install the gaskets with two bolts holding them in place, and then be able to "hang" the header until you were able to get the remainder of the bolts started.

...and NO SLOTS would allow you the option to cut the slots vertical ...since you personally think it is a good idea. I am for EVERYONE having an option.

Yes for slots...

What is the cost for a set of these headers, anyway? I must have missed that, in your last thread.
