Canton Valve Covers and OTVC Wires
How much taller are the Canton valve covers VS stock?
My OTVCs are cut to fit the stock covers, I have a feeling that switching
to Canton VCs is going to mean buying new wires.
Engine was out for a 355 swap, VCs are a last-minute thought.

Is your alternator in the stock location? If so, you will most likely have to
do some modification to the Canton's and the alternator.

I didn't measure the difference but I'd bet they're almost twice as tall. We just ended up running the wires under the headers and using the motor mounts to keep them off the headers. I didn't have to make any mods to the canton's or alternator other than grinding a little off the inside front of the passenger cover to clear the rocker but I think that was because I have the big Comp Pro Mags.

I think I'll stick to stock covers for now. We can think about taller ones later on.
It was more of an asthetic mod than anything else.

Turns out my 383 needs taller covers to accomodate the taller pushrods and longer valves on these Darts.
Looking at my options now ... motor is ready otherwise.
Note: I ended up scrapping the 355 mentioned above and building a 383 with LE-ported Dart Pro heads instead.

Standard center bolt should fit, my alt is in the stock location.
Running Promags.
Lemme know what you have and how much you want for them.
I just want to get the motor in the car so I can start using it LOL

Probably not a good idea to attempt that with them on the motor.
But I agree, they should come that way from the factory, I'll include that in my feedback to Dart.
