The new lift numbers with 1.7RR's would be .607/.612 so no that would not work.
If your wondering you take .571 and divide by 1.6 then multiply by 1.7 and same for .576

It depends on the heads ability to flow more, but even with stock heads lift gives a few horsies with no other changes.

depending on what springs you would be using, keeping in mind of having .060 of forgiveness from what the max lift of the spring is, you may have to end up machining out the valve spring seat to get a proper setup. thats a lot of work to squeeze a 1.7 or 1.8 rocker arm in under the valve cover

You would have to flycut the pistons. The valves would be smacking them with over .600 lift. 1.7s would also require you to cut out some of the valve covers supports. My brother has some already done, it's not that big of a job but it's required to run them.

piston to valve clearance will become an issue and even if you change out teh springs it probably won't be worth it as the small increase in lift would give you maybe 10hp....

this is of course if the heads can even support it.... What do the heads flow and at what lift?????

You need a flowsheet to make decisions like this.... you can have a full inch of lift if you want but if your heads don't flow up to those lift #'s it ain't gonna give you ****...

Might be worth it for nitrous though.

You have quite a healthy cam. i don't think a bottom end change would be worth the gains from a rocker swap. Although, if you stagger the rockers, you could benefit from it. Maybe 1.5s/1.6s or 1.6s/1.5s. That's alot cheaper than a piston swap and only an hour, maybe less, in the shop. Do some R&D at the track or on a dyno and see what the benefits are. Hoope this helps.
