Took my muffler off
Free custom exhaust F T W!!!!
Hahaha. This is my car that i just drive around for fun. It's a completely stock (other than the muffler removed now) '93 Z28. Definitely a little more rumble down low. Up top doesn't sound great but the bass is nice below like 3k . For completely free I'm satisfied . haha. Time to go to the store in it and get some ice cream
Is it possible it's slower because of that? It feels a bit slower, but I don't know if it's just because I can actually hear it accelerating now. lol

It might feel slower due to loss of back pressure, however you might see gains at higher RPMS.
I drove my 93 Z with longtubes and an open y pipe for a while untill I could get a custom exauhst welded up. Car felt much better afterwards.
You should get a cold air kit if you dont have one. This totally changed my car (before headers).

Nope, I haven't done that yet. It's completely stock. I haven't decided if i want to keep it or sell it yet. Money vs. fun project and spending money... lol. Anyway, that's why i did this. Just unbolted it and took it off (as if it was that simple....) so that i can just stick it back on there to sell if I do. If I decide to keep it though I'll definitely be getting one of those I'm sure.

When i changed my fuel pump on my 94 formula, i forgot to get exhaust clamps, cause the ones i took off broke.. so i drove around with no muffler for a few days. I must say it sounded sick WOT. everything else it hurt my head and was obnoxious lol
