Ford 24# Injectors.. no pulse??
I just received my ford racing 24# injectors and installed them. The reason why I bought them was because one of my Accel injectors went bad, so I bought another one to replace it, and two more went bad, so i said ef it, and bought these. I put them in and right away i touched the injectors where the previous failed ones were, and they were pulsing, so that eliminates any doubt of a wiring issue (this was clearly an injector defect with Accel). So im feeling all the injectors as the car is running and they are all ticking/pulsing.. until i reached the last two. Two of them (passenger side towards the back of the motor - not sure which cylinders those are), were not pulsing. So $$$ later, and im back at a 6cyl LT1... I bought them from Blue Oval Industries, and I was reading their policies, and it says no installed items can be returned. Well wtf.. two of the injectors they sent me are defected. What do you guys think I should do? Im going to give them a call tomorrow and see whats going on, if they can replace them. In the meanwhile, would it be a good idea to take those two out and put in 2 working Accel injectors? Im so frustrated at this point its rediculous

I just swaitched the two that didnt work on the pass. side with the ones that did work on the pass. side to see if the problem follows those injectors, and now NONE of the injectors on the pass. side of the intake are ticking/pulsing. Question, if I can't physically feel them vibrate/tick, does that mean it's not pulsing? Because all of the injectors on the driver side are vibrating hard, and you can feel them.

Mine don't \= Well, I'm sure mine work (because I used a test light and they all are getting power), but maybe it's because my car's not tuned for the larger injectors? But why would the driver side ones make a loud *** ticking noise? It's obnoxiously loud.. They are brand new injectors, I doubt they went bad the first day.. Perhaps I should tune it first? What would you suggest?

did you try out a noid light tester to see if the pulse is getting to the injecter?
it plugs into the injecter wire end and lights when the pulse hits, this will rule out a wire problem

They're kinda expensive from what I remember... Like $35-40 (which to me is kinda pricey for a light heh)
And the tune only helps to compensate for bigger injectors, and our 93s only came with 22#, and if you have SVO 24# then it's like 25.5# on GM PSI.

If you have no light flashing for the whole side its either a wiring problem, or something with the pcm.
Another thing you could try is test the wires coming out of the pcm for each injecter, kinda a pain but it will tell you for sure if its the wiring, also scan for any codes.
