Default 96 motor in a 94

A PUT A 96 LT1 IN MY 94 Z28 and it seems to have timing issues. runs fine at idle but has no power and misfires going down the road. i used the 96 opti and it has a plug for the crank sensor in the timing cover which my 94 does not have. also it was a 6-speed car and i put a 700r4 in it and left the trans wires disconnected. i have the 96 ecm and wiring and it looks as if i'm going to have to use it. any thoughts??

Use your 94 PCM and wiring harness, youll have less issues to deal with.

i think it may be because it's not reading the speed sensor
