Default best place to get a rebuild?

on long island new york? i need to rebuild the motor so i can sell the car better. anyone? or do u think i can do it myself??

Why do you "Need" to rebuild it? Broken? You know, 200K is the new 100K with LT and LS motors

its got 65k but idts slightly broken. i have an engine lift can i do it? i wanna do the cam swap at the same time

You're going to rebuild and put a cam in just so you can sell it? Waste....

Indeed. What exactly is "slightly broken" anyways. Anything that I can think of that would render a motor slightly broken can usually be done with the motor in the car, and done yourself.

Yes, you can pull it out with a cherry picker. Just yoink off the hood.

its a waste, your throwing away your money. it wont make the value go up anywhere near enough. and i mean that, your just wasteing your money...

Well yes and no. It sort of depends. If the person can get the block work done and assemble it them self, install it, then you won't be out of pocket as much as with a full rebuild. With that you could then maybe make at least $200 back on it, as well as it being a good selling point over possible other like-conditioned LT1 FBodies.

I'm still curious as to what is 'kinda broke' on the car to merit a rebuild in the first place.
