I would ditch those tr55's for tr6's because you will want a colder plug. If your going to spray dry that will be no prob if you have the injectors and fuel pump to support it, wet would be fine. 75 or 100 shot really isnt much, seems like people are spraying 150 without any issues on the stock bottom end but I believe thats as high as you would want to go.

150 shot is what I would hit the car with. I have a direct port Manifold if your interested. I have pics in the link in my sig, and im asking 500 bucks for the manifold. Which will leave you with room to grow once you build a motor. I also have alot of other nitrous stuff if you need. PM me, we will talk

Absolutely, thats a great way to go. Going with a single nozzle setup on the elbow would work great also. The plate looks IMO better but is more costly than a single nozzle setup. My plans are to add a HSW single nozzle wet setup eventually and spray 150 on the stock bottom end.

I'll be getting a NX system from NitroDave, its good to 200, i will be spraying 100 shot at first with the stock bottom end, then go no higher then 150, i'll be installing a new pump, then i'll get the Mallory 685 box & a fuel regulator/gauge & TR6 plugs, first i'm installing a moser 9", custom D shaft for added security behind the 6sp.

A 100 shot on the stock bottem end will be just fine. Dual nozzles would be overkill unless you wanted it for the bling factor. A single nozzle is all you really need if you are only going to shoot a 100. Switch to TR6 plugs as stated before, get a window switch and a fuel pressure safety switch. A good "all around" box is the Mallory 685 ignition box. It has the benifit of a hotter spark, window switch and a timing retard all in one unit. (Along with some other cool stuff)

i have a 1995 firehawk with a stock lower end and im curious if i should go with a 100 or 150 dry shot system. its got a top end package done by MTI and when they did the top end work, they put upgraded bolts in the lower end too. the heads are the MTI stage 2's and it has the LT4 hot cam with 1.6rr, JBA headers, 52mm TB, 4.10 gears, and subframe connectors. i plan to use a micro switch and only spray at wide open throttle. do you think id be better off with a 100 shot, or a 150 shot?

to run a 100 shot with a single nozzle do u have to have a Mallory 685 ignition box or any kind of after market ignition or can u just hook it up and push the button

I've read people say here that 75/100 you don't need to pull timing or use anything fancy. I'm sure a cheap 6A box wouldn't hurt though.

i would say unless you put a better fuel pump on it to stay around the 125 shot cause the extra power from a 150 aint gonna do much for you past what the 125 does..... keep it safe and simple and have fun..... make sure you retard the timing a lil bit and have a lil colder plug on it..... later on when you build your motor put some forged pistons and rods and put a good qaulity eagle crank in it and spray some bigger shots around 175-250 and have some fun! keep in mind nitrous doesnt have to be dangerous to your car unless you arent doing it safe and tuning for the nitrous properly

man you will be fine with up to 125 shot dry as long as you got some tr6 plugs gapped .035 and premium fuel. i ran mine for over a year with no problems. a wet kit might get you to 150 but anything higher will need timing adjustment as well as upgraded fuel components.
