Default Pics Of Clearancing For Double Roller

Hey Guys Ive got a 1997 Z28 and Im in the middle of a cam swap.

Well Ive been told that to switch to a Cloyes Double Roller You have to do some clearan cing on the timing cover. Anyone got any pics of the clearancing they did?

just go in there with a grinding wheel and take your time.. there is a lil lip around where the opti goes.. if you take that down flesh you should have no problems

The double roller touching the timing cover is what took out my last motor...

It might just depend on the timing set used. You also want to take heat expansion into consideration.

Mine rubbed baaaad... It was the typical Cloyes DR that most LT1 guys use.

K that sucks seing the chain was hitting the bottom no one ever said it was a problem there and I didnt clearance mine there. I havent put the motor in yet but damn i dont want to tear that thing apart again to do it but seeing yours makes me really want to. who stupid *** idea was it to make a double roller that doesnt fit. guess i should of went with the big exspensive gm chain at least it fits proper.
