De-pressurizing the fuel lines
What is the easiest way to de-pressurize the fuel system in these cars? don't to just pull the lines, but if the is the easiest way, then i guess that is what I will do. Also, how the hell do you gets the lines off? they re kicking my ***.

The fuel presure is released by the shrader valve on the fuel line. Remove gas cap at tank, and there is a tool required to release the fuel lines. It snaps on line and will release the line.

And the tools Battle mentioned can be bought at your local parts store for a few bucks, they're just plastic rings and are used on Fuel, AC and I believe some heater hoses too.

It's really not that bad. It just seems like it at first. I hooked a pressure gauge up before changing the filter to use the bleeder and again after just to see if the pressure changed. Not hard at all. Nothing on an LT1 seems hard to me after working on my daily driver Escort where EVERYTHING is a pain in the ***.
