Default Window switch or motor??

Which one of these goes bad the most. My wifes 96ss has been having some issues with the windows. The passenger side wont go down from the pass side but it will from the driver side and the driver side window just quit moving all together. I know it's not to hard to check but i was just wondering what your guys opinions were on which one goes bad the most.

the switch is gone on the passenger side ~$12. the motor is gone on the driver's side ~$15-$200. I replaced my driver window motor with an ebay one that was like $15 and its worked fine for a bout 2 years but now it wants to overheat while rolling down or up. usually takes two sessions to get my window up or down.
