Haha, good deal......I was about to post and say just murder it, just dont murder the cover and whats behind it. If they are a bitch, usually you can get em to the point where they just give up and collapse

ok so now how do i get it on....i tried tapping it in w/ no luck. Tried using a block of wood the size of the seal no luck and a busted hand that wont stop bleeding...is there a freaking tool to install this cuz I've been at getting this seal in for an hour n a half w/ no luck

Its better off that you replaced them, as far as I know they are not reuseable (I wouldent even if they were for the same reason you stated, having everything ripped down only to have it leak later).
I have never had a problem getting them in without the J tools, just gotta "lightly coax" them in. The WP drive seal is easy, just find the right sized socket to tap it in. But the Opti seal and crank seal are a little tougher, I got both in square no problem multiple times just using a light hammer or mallet. No leaks and no damage here, just need to be careful.
