Opti Tricks

Wtf do I have to do to get this thing on? I have a vented optispark and tried lining up the opti w/ the dowel pin 100+ times...been sitting there for 3+ hours and cant seem to get it to slide all the way back...

Note the flat spot on the drive gear. You have to line up the drive gear correctly... It can take an hour, or it can take 5 seconds... Either way, it fits, and you just have to find the right alignment.
