Water Temp. Gauge question?
Something is wrong with my water Temp. gauge... it only does this when it gets to running temp. every time i give it gas it goes back to normal but in between shifts it does that(whats shown on the Vid.) or shoots all the way up sitting idle. I just changed out the water Temp. Sensor.. and it's still doing it... any ideas what this is?. or is my gauges broken?
Thanks!!

wow, that is weird, it looks like a loose wire or a bad sensor, check the connector and pull the pigtail off and see if there is any damage to the pigtail or the sensor.
Those sensors are like 20 bucks from a parts store, my bet is its the sensor

It's one of them new kind that wave at you when it's been past 260 for so long. Instead of an Idiot Light coming on, it's the new Idiot Gauge.
Mine just stopped working, so don't feel bad, at least yours works now Once in a blue moon mine will read 160ish. I keep my scanner in my car and it runs a constant 198ish. So, until I get off my *** and change my T-Stat to 160, I just unplugged my main fan and left my secondary to do the cooling
