Starting trouble when hot
My 94 LT1 has suddenly started taking really long to fire up, especially when hot. It used to start as soon as I turned the key. Now I have to crank it forever . It started doing this right after I put a new fuel pump on it. It's already had a full tune-up - new plugs, wires, opti, O2 sensors, fuel and air filters, new oil and filter.
I thought maybe the fuel pump isn't delivering enough pressure when it first primes up so I tried turning the key on and off a couple of times before cranking but it didn't change anything. I am starting to suspect it might have something to do with the evap canister since the smell of gas outside the car, especially in warm weather is overwhelming. Could it be something like vapor lock?
Any ideas people?
