Arrow Moroso CAI

Hey all, trying to find the measurements for the Moroso High Flow intake part # 65840 that's on my Z (Without taking it off lol). I need a new filter and we have an account with K&N, but not Moroso so I need to find a comparable K&N filter.

In all honesty, you'll probably have to either contact a sponsor who has them on hand, or just pull it. I think anyone else here would have to pull theirs anyways to give you the measurements :\

Are you just looking for the filter opening size? I wouldn't be surprised any if it's the same size as the TB opening (OD, not ID) and could even be fit directly on it.

I'm looking for basically identical dimensions overall so I can just get a K&N one ordered. Have you been to K&N's site? It rocks in regards to searching by exact sizes. I wish Moroso let you do that.

OK right, so you just need the filter dimensions. Well, sadly I don't know the length and width heh I haven't been to their site, but I have looked through their catalog when I worked for the parts store. A bit confusing but I managed to find one for my TPI car.

I tried to find a K&N filter that would be the same and all as the Moroso filter, and had no luck. The closest I could find were the ones made to go on the TPI motors. But, the flange wasn't large enough to fit around the CAI openning on the Moroso tube. So, I said screw it and blew $50 on a new Moroso filter.

I have no doubt that a 6" mouth would fit fine and the hose clamp would take up the extra 1/2 inch.

Pork, that 5.5" is measured between the ends of the oval right? If I'm remembering right in the K&N book, they listed 2 measurements when the opening was oval. Like 5.5x3

I couldn't tell you how they measure it since I just took the measurements from Summit. I'd have to pull off my filter from my Moroso CAI to give you real world measurements. And I wouldn't mind doing that but I have to change my plugs tomorrow for my nitrous so I probably won't have time.
