Default Help!

Ok guys so I just got my 355 lt1 running. Its got an eagle rotating assy. with flat tops, home ported heads and intake, stock size backcut stainless valves, comp solid roller, pro-mag 1.52 rockers, 30 lb motorsport injectors, 58mm throttle body, !AIR, !EGR, ported MAF, Pacesetter longtubes, NGK TR55s, MSD cap, rotor, and wires. I had the PCM tuned by bryan at PCMforless. Cam specs are: .571/.577 280/286 on a 110* LSA. Duration at .050 is 242/248. My problem is that I'm running WAY rich. Rich to the point of dripping gas out the exhaust. It runs rich whether its hot or cold, and whether its idling in the garage, or goin down the road. First thought was fuel pressure regulator, but it seems ok and its getting good vacuum. I replaced the ECT sensor with a known good one, and it didn't help. I was thinking maybe it could be the ported MAF? What do you guys think? Any tests to run? Also, since my heads are home ported, I didn't have any flow numbers for Bryan. Maybe I just need a retune since he didn't really have all the info he needed? Sorry for the long post but this is drivin me crazy!

Was it a dyno tume or a mailorder tune. I know with mysetup I was off a bit due to the mailorder tune. The custom dyno tune really helped the power, driveability and got rid of my car running pig rich. One other things how are your O2 sensors, mine didnt throw a code, but were all fouled up aswell.

It was a mail order tune. My 02s arent throwing a code, but they very well could be bad... I got paid today so I'll try those and see... I can't find anyone who can tune LT1 cars in my area. Theres one whose a member on here, but I can't get in touch with him. Anyone know someone who tunes LT1s in the Knoxville, TN area?

don't drive it any more, and i wouldnt start it either until you get the problem figured out...you can wash down your cyl walls from too much fuel. I would get a real dynotune on it. any way of data logging? maybe you could post it up and someone could help you

Thanks! I just called Scott... seems like a really nice guy. He told me one more thing to check and if that doesn't help, I'm gonna trailer it down there.

So i took my car to In-tune yesterday. Turns out my map sensor wires rubbed on the back of my fabbed valve covers causing the PCM to not get a MAP reading. Fixed that and did a few dyno pulls and tuning. Wound up with 350 hp @ 600 and 342 lb/ft @ 4200. That was on a Mustang dyno. What do you guys think? Are those numbers about right for my mods?

I don't know about the Mustang dyno, that's a fairly aggressive cam, I'd have thought closer to 400 RWHP with your listed mods.

Thats what i thought, too... Scott said it would probably show around 390-400 on a dynojet
