Default True Duals

What size piping do are you guys running.I was going to order a 3in x-pipe.What do you guys think?

im running 3" x-pipe from summit. the guys that put mine on had never done an f-body true dual system before and they still did a pretty good job. i only scrape when i have other people in the car over big speed bumps. as far as performance, i dont think there is a huge difference between 2.5 and 3 but i could be wrong. its about what you want really.

I also went w/ 3" over 2.5" either will work its basically personal preference

The dual 2.5" exhaust has a cross sectional area of equivalent to a single 3.5" exhaust. The dual 3" exhaust has a cross sectional area equivalent to a single 4.2" exhaust. Just something to keep in mind.

no pix but i have LTs,2.5'' true duals,1 chamber flows and i feel with my mild mods i have plenty freeflow using 2.5"......

cam/head etc. cars may need more ex. than what i have!

Do you have any more pics of that? Im concerned about my 2.5 summit X-pipe hitting the trans mount possibly and I also have Jet-Hot Headers I had to smash my 3in Y-pipe to like 2-2.5 inches on the drivers side to make it work.
