Your temp is high, and it's not from the radiator, it's from a pulley? That pretty much made zero sense at all.

So unless you revise what you said, I can't help you at all.

With out tuned fans for a 160 T-Stat, it will still be high.

I know it will be but it didnt stop it went all the way up.The leak is not from the pulleys but around that area.I duno if I blew a hose or what. The leak is straight down from the alternator. Not the alternator itself down further.Make more sense?

um I guess
did you check the hoses? If there not cracked, and its leaking near the water pump its the water pump. You are leaking anti freeze right? As far as the temp goes how high did it get? On first start it will warm up all the way "210" then go back down to w/e the stat is rated at

your still not really making sence... because i don't know if you realize this or not but LT1's aren't belt driven there basically driven from your cam to say it easy with out going into to much detail.... have you changed the antifreeze lately??? you could have a air pocket??? theres a screw oit breather you can open up and see if you do or not... hell maybe that srew out piece out right fell out... i've seen that happen before... hope that helps ya any.... but more then likely what it is, is your water pump went out which happens quit often with an LT1... when you get back there depending on how many miles you have on your car you might as well change your opti also... its kinda a pain to get back there so if your there you might as well go all the way with it... thats just how i think of it though....

Bulk 3/4" heater hose with a 3/4" to 3/4" butt connector, and 3 hose clamps.
