Default LT1 blocks

I tried a search so here goes a stuipd ? I have a 95 block that I would like to start building to put in my 94. I know I will need to use a opti from a 94 ( non vented) but will the heads off any LT1 work on the block.

why limit yourself to the non vented opti, since you are doing a build up that would be the best time to convert it..
as far as the heads go Lt1 heads are all interchangable 1992-1997 f- body or y- body

How much trouble to convert to the vented? Can you just buy a connector that fits the opti?

You should just need a new timing cover, opti, tubing to run to the opti and manifold, as well as go with the 95 cam with the longer dowel.
