and just running the long tubes?

on the ls motors i had some buddies picking up a .1 or .2 but im not sure how the lt cars respond to it...

wont be a whole hell of alot if its a stock car but there will be some sort of a gain.... it will feel slower but will be a lil faster, normally how it goes when you make it louder

Like with any engine, it depends on the whole combo as to wether it'll pick up or slow down, i would say if you just have the basic bolt-ons (no gears or stall if auto) you will most likely gain nothing to speak of, but if you were to add extentions, then that should help your 60ft., But on the other hand, if your geared/cammed/good heads/just all around better air/fuel through the engine & shifting at a higher RPM then say 6K, then YES, you should see some good gains in the ET & MPH, but even then, extentions will help in either case. If you really want to try it, do it, then throw on some 2.5" X 18" extentions & watch your 60ft. drop, this alone will pick up your ET.
