i was driving my car and it got hot but not to the red. anyway i pulled off and the water pump was uber hot. when it cools and i get going again it heats right back up. all the coolant is cold even when its hot. im thinking the water pump is toast. i tried turning on the heater to help and it blew nothing but cold air. is this consistent with a bad pump??
