Those are NSA ..

What about those springs? They were listed under ls2 but the FAQ said they were a popular choice.

Im going straight from loydd Elliot. This is what he said.

You will also need these parts . . . .

Comp 1305-16 rockers
Comp 7939-16 pushrods (check pushrod length as described below)
ARP 134-7103 studs
Trick Flow 30400623-8 guide plates
Mr Gasket 5716 head gaskets
Autolite 104 plugs
PCMforless tuning

There are other parts needed for optimum performance (58 MM TB, ported intake, electric WP, etc) but these are the basics to get the car going and still have a good running car.

PR length is something that you need to check to get the EXACT length. Use an adjustable PR checker and start at 7.150" and adjust the length until you get the wear pattern most centered in the valve. Go .050" shorter and watch the wear pattern move. If it gets worse, go .050 longer. It could be anywhere from 7.00 to 7.250 depending on everything done but a 7.150" (Comp 7939-16) is what I suggest for people that do not know how (or do not wanna take the time) to do this.

Dont order the pushrods until you measure the correct length but when you do go with the Trick Flows. The above parts mentioned that Lloyd told you to get all look good and I happen to run all the same parts for the exception of the valvesprings and pushrods. Dont forget all the gaskets you will need as well as a new GM timing chain which would be a very good idea. Add some GM LS7 lifters to that list if the tips of your lifters do not roll freely or you have alot of mileage on the motor and want to for peace of mind.

BTW: Byunspeed does have the cam on their website:

http://www.byunspeed.com/product_inf...eefb91278ba692

You will be very happy with the cam I was very pleased with it.

With that cam you would be fine going with the Crane 10308-1 Kit for $162. I ran that kit with the cc503 and it worked great for me. You really dont need beehives with that cam but if you want to get them thats fine. In terms of beehives I would go with the PAC 1218's (same as CC 918's) because Comp Cams had issues and has a company in Mexico making them where as PAC is USA and with zero issues. I guess Comp Cams has corrected their issues but I'd still go with the PAC's just because. I run the PAC 1518's which are the exact same except they are nitraded which makes them a tad stronger and are rated to a .650" lift but thats more than you need.

If the heads haven't ever been milled, block never been decked, and your running the stock head gaskets then you should be ok with stock length. The base circle of a cam can also throw the length off but with the cc503 it should be fine. I just threw stock 7.2's in with mine at that time but checked when I did the heads and my second cam and it really should be done every time but you should be fine. I would get the Trick Flow Chromemoly 7.2" 21407200.
