starter solenoid where can I get just a starter solenoid for an LT1. Is it the same as a small block chevy? I went to advance auto and they only offer the solenoid when you buy the starter too. But all I want is a solenoid.

Check NAPA, these discount parts stores have a reputation with electrical replacement parts. Even if you have to wait a day and order the part, it will be a better part. OTOH, the last GM reman starter (solenoid included) I bought was only $30 more than the solenoid alone.
