Default No power

I need help with my friends 95 t/a it has a brand new motor in it and it has no power and sounds like a 7 cylinder, and the wierdest thing is that the car runs so smooth but just has no power and it is running rich according to what the o2 sensors looked like, idk if it is opti, or if it is the stupid totvc wires that i told him not to buy, i put new o2's and a new maf in the car and it runs the same i also changes map sensor and knock just b/c they are old and same thing car has no power, i have a question though will the car run smooth but have no power if the opti is bad i would think it would miss like hell, i was also told that it could be fuel but if the o2's were covered in thick black soot i think its not fuel but spark, car has hooker lt's and full exhaust, i told him i would ask you guy's for help so i appreciate all input.

thanks, Angelo

I would say re-set the valves (rockers). Kinda seems like one may be too tight and not letting a valve totally close.

That sounds like a feasible possibility.. but it's weird because his car runs amazing. No misses, no nothing. Just smells lean as hell and sounds/performs like a V6
