Default Cherrybomb Catback

Anybody on here know anything about the new cherrybomb catback for these car?
Flow? Sound? Price?

I heard a cherrybomb vortex muffler on a truck a while back and was impressed.

I like your sig

Haven't really heard the vortex muffler. Is that the muffler that the catback comes with or is it the pro or the extreme?

On there website it says it is the pro muffler i think. It looks similar to flowmasters 80 series but i am mainly wondering how it flows compared to other catbacks. I actually like the sound of the flowmaster 80 and if i could get something similar to that sound with better flow i would be happy.

I'm planning on removing the Loudmouth that is on my 97 SS I bought about a week ago and replacing it with the Vortex system because of pricing mainly. The Loudmouth is really living up to it's name, and I can see a ticket in my near future if I don't do something. Don't get me wrong, I love the sound of the Loudmouth....it's just that everyone else doesn't appreciate it too. lol
Anyway...just thought I would let anyone interested know that although the Vortex catback lists for about $350 at places such as AutoZone, if you look through the catalog and order it individual pieces you can get the whole thing for just over $200. The only thing that you have to leave out to get everything for that are the clamps and the WAY overpriced quad tips. Unless I'm missing something, this has got to be the most affordable 3" mandrel bent catback out there.

advance auto sells magnaflow but that doesn't diminish the quality of it.

heck man..try it out and be the first to let us know. if anything it can't flow worse than a flowmaster and it certainly can't be worse than stock.

i saw on an episode of GearZ that did a flow bench comparison of a cherry bomb pro and flowmaster 40. it actually showed them running the flow bench not just a bunch of numbers. it definitely flowed more.
