Default no spark and no check engine light.

well this is freaking weird. i was moving the car and i turned it off everything in working order and then i do something else. and when i go back to turn it on to go racing. it dont want to start does get fuel, but i dont think its getting any spark and also i have the 6a msd box and coil but does the box have to be mounted to be grounded? also where are there some places that something might have gotten dissconnected? thanks in advance.

sounds pretty much like my problem...check your coil and see if it has spark if so its your opti...that will be a fun one

how can i check that and its ez doing this in a bbody lastime i changed my opti took me 30 minutes.

you already checked buddy....you have no spark...the only other thing is are your plugs fowled out....how old are your plugs, wires, and opti?? what kind of opti did you use....answer those questions

oh yea to check your coil you leave the coil wire connected to your coil and unplug it from your opti...man if you have any questions you can shoot me a pm and ill throw you my number

I'd check to see if you have spark at the cylinder. Do this by grabbing an extra plug you have laying around and put it on the spark plug wires one by one and ground it out on something. Crank and check for good, consistent spark. If you don't have spark, that should at least point you in the right direction rather than throwing parts at it. Start at the plug and start going backwards checking everything ignition to solve the problem.
