Default Shaft Mount - Valve Covers

Ive been doing some research and cannot seem to find a set of valve covers that will clear the shaft mount rockers (AFR227). With the Alt in the stock location, are there other options I missing?

Ive seem folks run the proforms with some grinding, between those and the Cantons I think thats all Ive read will work.

Also these 227s dont seem to have center bolt holes, so is the SBC style the only valve cover I'll be able to use?

Call canton and get them to make you a set of their perimeter style fabbed covers that has the provision for the alternator.

I’m running AFR 210's and Jesel shaft mounts. I run ProForm valve covers and they clear the shafts no problem. A little grinding has to be done on the valve cover and alternator on the passenger side, nothing major.

I'm also running Proform valve covers on my AFRs with Jesel shaft rockers. And, it only took a minimal amount of clearancing to get them to fit with the standard alternator location. Here are some photos.
