need help

how do i check a rearend to see if its positive traction or limited slip i have the cover off but dont know what to look for?

I take it you have the stock rearend right?? Never been changed out? If so you more then like have limited slip. Have you ever done a burn out and had one tire spin while the other just sat there? If so, you have limited slip.

The Auburns have the Center Plates with the 5 Springs in their Posi's. The Torsens are all Gears I believe, they are a little tougher.

i just got the rearend to replace mine but it has drum brakes and i was told it may have come out of a v6 95 camaro were the v6 cars posi or slip and how can i check?
