Default wont start no spark

car was driving fine. stopped at a light took off made a turn and it started to spudder for about 30 seconds then died...
first though was gas...either out or fuel pump but both are fine....

we checked the coil according to shoebox and all was fine...
i replaced the coil with another same problem
replaced the pcm same problem
checked and changed out the opti harness

still have the same problem, any other ideas?

you changed everything besides your opti?? sounds like your opti man..check your coil by pulling off the wire from your opti and leaving the other end on your coil... is that how you checked your coil??

Thats what my new setup started doing after a few startups, it ended up being the ICM.

Good luck.

me neither...i immediately though since it spuddared it was fuel problem

once i found out it wasnt and it had no spark i was confused...
i knew it wasnt the common opti rotor problem...so i checked shbox site...all was good..i swapped coils and ohmed the coil wire no problems there...i then knew it was the icm, swapped it with another and it fired
