Default First Time At The Track With The Car

So today was my first day at the track racing the 6 speed 97 trans am with 105,000 miles. My first run was a horrible 14.49 with a 2.56 60 ft. Next was a 14.23 with a 2.36 60 ft. Then i ran a best of 14.06 with a 2.24 60 ft. My mods are full exhaust, centerforce clutch, cai, 160* stat and a pro 5.0 shifter. What do you guys think? Those runs were on street tires by the way.

I've gone 13.33 in at 100mph in my car in the past with a stock motor. If you can get out of the hole faster you can get a nice ET. You got the power.

Get some cheap *** summer tires and run them at about 25-29 psi and do a little burnout and they will stick pretty well. I had some fuzion zri's and they stuck very well! But they suck for mileage... I got maybe 10k miles out of them.

Also...slip the clutch. Don't drop it.
