Default Nitrous help?

This is the first time i have ever considered sprayin a car but i just read somewhere that the stock LT1 PCM is to slow to recognize t nitrous through the maf with a dry kit? what kinda truth is there to that?

Go with the wet Nitro Outlet Plate set up or the NX! Best on the market.

You are correct about the LTx PCM not being able to handle MAF based dry kits.

LT1 dry kits are designed to spray behind the MAF, then they increase the fuel pressure at the regulator to add the extra fuel.

For LTx cars I would run a wet kit.

I never really understood the purpose of a window switch. what are some of the benefits and is it a most for that kinda setup? yea but i goin to get the plugs?

I would not run a nitrous kit without a window switch.

It prevents low rpm activation and will shut the nitrous off in an "over-rev" situation. This can be caused from tranny/clutch slippage, drive line breakage, miss shift, etc. You can also use a window switch to shut the nitrous off in between shifts to save transmission wear also.

^^ exactly..there's a LS1 guy around here that had to rebuild his tranny because he didn't have the switch.

can i buy a kit that comes with nozzles and instead use a plate? i would rather use a plate?
