Really! I'm Gonna Check Them Out And See If They Are Compatible With The Lt1's. Thanks. Oh, What Size Injectors Do You Think Would Be Good For Around 475hp.

They come on some Ford cars, or you can buy them from summit or jegs, or find them on ebay. They are great injectors.

SVO "Red-Top" 30# injectors are Ford racing product items which will plug and play on a LT engine. However, they will require re-programming, as the larger injector will have a different duty-cycle.

I believe Summit will have the 30# SVOs, but you'll need to call and ask for them. I don't believe they are in their catalog. I believe a Ford dealership would probably be expensive.

The 30# svo's probably won't be enough for 475 RWHP if it is crank then 30 svo's should be fine. I would go with atleast a 36# at 475rwhp..

Thanks for the info. How much horsepower do you guys think a stock throttle body can handle? Do you think i will be able to achieve 475rwhp with the stock throttle body and mass air flow sensor?

I could be mistaken, but I think I read that you start to choke with them stock at 450rwhp or so. I THINK....But if it were me and I was pushin 475 to the wheels I would be investing in atleast a new throttle body, most likely a maf too. The second part is just a personal opinion..

You can also run 450cc(~42lb hour) turbo eclipse injectors. Dime a dozen for those. go to the local junkyard and pull them.

personally the SVO brand injectors are some of the best to run in these cars. Easy to tune, and they work great. As far as the MAF you already have the 3.5" Unit. IIRC it should be able to accomodate the power you want to make.

The stock TB IMO becomes a restriction anytime you start going over 4800rpms. IIRC there was an article a few years ago by vizard about it. And for those who argue that they put the 48mm on the BB Ram Jet, it's because why would bean counter GM make a bigger one when they already had one. People with the BB Ram Jets go to bigger TBs and Pickup power.

Well, shame on you. If you go back to 30# units, you might be able to keep the vehicle more stable by keeping the front wheels on the ground...

It is what it is, can't change the numbers! Of course that is also to be held down to a duty cycle less than 80% and does not take N20 into account. I merely showed what the actual fuel demand was.

The OP also never really disclosed whether or not that was rwhp or fwhp. Of course the number I gave is FWHP.
