Some red top 30# SVO's would work just fine, thats what I run with my LE2's.

As Stealth said, the 30# red tops would probably be the way to go. I use those too, in a set-up close to his.

I have the red top 30# injectors and they hit 92% DC at WOT. This is not good.

I have purchased some Racetronix 37# injectors and they will go in soon. I just need a decent understanding of how to tweak the tune for the short run till I can get back to the dyno.

Go with at least some 36s unless you like running maxed out injectors and loosing HP you could have had....

They should definetly not be maxed out with that package, you figure you will be in the 380rwhp range thru the auto. Even talk to Lloyd he will say 30's will work fine.

Im working on my LE2 heads with 230/236 LE2 custom cam and LE3 intake.
Lloyd just told me to get Delphi 37lb injectors.

Originaly said svo 30# redtops would be fine, but by the time we were done with my set up(I switched to the hotter cam, patriot springs and LE3 intake) the 37s will be needed.

but you have le2 heads and 417 rwhp which is pulling alot more air... i would think the red svo 30's would be good enough fo 360-380 rwhp...

your gonna have to get a dyno tune anyway... so for the le1 i would just get a used set of 30's and go from there...

I personally ran 30lb SVO's. If you have the chance to get something between 30lb-42lb for cheap used in the classifieds you will be good to go. Anything in that range can be tuned to work with your combo just fine.

wouldn't a mail order tune be close enough to get you to the dyno?

If he already has a good dyno tune he should be able to change the injector constant and that should be good enough.

You have 412rwhp where he will be a good amount less than that...Lloyd's site states 360rwhp for LE1 heads/cam plus the poster has a Stalled Auto so no matter what he pulls even if he does more than expected like 380rwhp, he will be atleast 35rwhp less than you. Obviously more injector wont hurt but 30's will work for his power level, if he can get some 36's or 37's for a better price (not likely) then def go for it.

that's kind of what i was thinking stealth, thanks for your input. i'll keep my eyes open for some 36# or 37#, but i have a feeling that i will be happier with the price of 30# ones and they will do what i need!
